Crimeans are holders of the Order of Alexander Nevsky

Abstract

The article tells about the history of the Order of Alexander Nevsky. All three types of the order are considered in detail, highlighting differences in materials, methods of manufacture and fastening. This approach made it possible to trace the evolution of the image of this order, taking into account the various political systems in the history of Russia. Special attention is paid to the status of the order, indicating who could have been awarded it. The total number of awarded Crimeans is given, and a separate breakdown is made by year, military branches, and nationality of the awarded. The first recipient was named. The material collected by the author was used by the Crimean Diocese to create a memorial complex in memory of the Crimeans awarded this award in the church of St. Alexander Nevsky in Simferopol.
