Activities of domestic museums in the online space during the COVID-19 pandem-ic

This article is devoted to the activities of domestic museums in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the self-isolation regime. Various forms and types of museum communication are described. The role of using information technologies as a tool in expanding access to the world cultural heritage for the widest strata of the population is considered. Specific examples of the work of domestic museums online are indicated (conducting museum events, online tours, flash mobs, online games, organizing conferences, etc.) which allowed museums to stay online and maintain contact with visitors in a remote format.
